sometimes though you have queer actors bring something special to queer roles that straight actors don’t always quite capture. That’s when it feels like a miss. And then you have a queer character that queer audiences can’t even relate to.

Random Kind of Hilarious and Weird Fact: at one point, she tried to reach out to Meryl Streep on twitter. Luckily, her state of mine was skewed to such a degree that she wasn’t able to detect the level of off-putting creepiness that would be conveyed by tweeting a one-line quote from “The Witch” asking Meryl Streep if

The ultimate defense of it being OK for straight actors to play gay characters:

I think a lot of women in Hollywood have a similar story. I remember Kristin Kreuk said the same thing.

But I’ve been assured that the success of Marvel movies has made indie movies impossible to make...?

I didn’t like the movie Happiness either. If I wanted to be depressed I would just think about my own life

“You couldn’t make that today!” has always been bullshit. It was an indy release at the time, and there are indy releases today that are at least as provocative (and well received). Declaring it a slur is ridiculous.”

You should have stopped right there. You were so close.

The arrogance of this guy is amazing. He gets to decide what words mean now. Okay tell us how it is, god-king

some lines you just shouldn’t cross no matter the circumstance.

If the word “cis” is a now labeled a slur on Twit, thousands of alkene chemists are in for a big surprise.

Iain De Caestecker made a valid point in an interview not too long ago why Fitz-Simmons should never return. He said the characters and their relationships have been through too many ringers that bringing them back will disrupt it once again, and be too much for the audience. I 95% agree with him.
