Agreed, I find a grind it out game where big defensive plays or rebounds can turn the game a lot more interesting than I would a 120 point shootout where people are getting wide open looks left and right; those games feel like exhibitions, last night’s game was like a playoff game.

I’m glad i procrastinated until 15 minutes before the submission deadline and just filled out a quick bracket this year. I usually spend so much time researching and revising my bracket. I’d be so upset right now if that were the case.

What really set Barnes off here is that Derek Fisher has the same mean mug on his face while he’s tapping Barnes’ ex-wife.

Does that color commentator also speak to the utter brilliance of Messi’s bowel movements? The guy is great, but the constant ooohs and ahhs for every touch he gets is a bit much to take.

Between those mystery illness outbreaks, mechanical problems and the possibility of getting tossed around in bad weather you could not pay me to go on a cruise.

How many seasons in his career did he carry a team with a lousy defense? And now when he wins at the end of his career when it’s the other way around you begrudge him for it? If you listen to any of his postgame comments he made it very clear that the defense deserves all the credit.

Of course nobody likes losing, but when you just spent an entire season being the most notably flamboyant celebrator in the league and then when you come up short in the end you turn in a full-Belichick press conference performance, it doesn’t make you a very likable figure.

The logical move would be to hire Tom Thibodeau, but he hasn’t pledged his life to the triangle offense gods so that means we’re going to end up with a lesser coach.

He’s a front runner. When his team is winning he looks like a little kid having the time of his life, when things go badly he sulks like a little kid who had his toy taken away.

And they’re “goons” based on what? Do you know anything about them other than that they were hired by Peyton Manning and showed up at the Sly house? I really don’t get the animosity towards Peyton Manning on this site. Would you like him better if he showed how much “fun” he has playing football by doing a 30 second

I bet he can dunk, but that hoop isn’t 10 feet high, more like 8.

I think the ball should light up like a fireball when someone like Curry has the hot hand. I’d like my NBA watching experience to be as close to NBA Jam as possible.

You must be doing this wrong. I very clearly recall James Bond driving a Vanquish around a hotel made of ice without any issue in Die Another Day.

Fisher did everything possible to give this game away. How many times does Calderone have to get toasted by Ish Smith before you put someone else in there to guard him?

No, I’m just kidding. I just thought it was amazing the way the defenders got out of his way every tone he drove the ball to the basket.

For those who may be confused by what they witnessed in that video, it should be noted that in the CBA it is against the rules to impede the progress of a ball handler once he enters the paint, he must be given a clear path to the basket.

I’ve never seen someone dominate layup drills like that. He should be right back in the NBA after that performance.

I could buy someone that has been a manager in the game for a long time as well. They could definitely give insight that is worthwhile. I think to say that softball is pretty much the same game as major league baseball is silly though. What experience does she have in either pitching or facing a pitcher that throws

I like her but I honestly wasn’t that impressed with her analysis in the games that I watched. I feel in general it’s just not believable when someone who hasn’t played the game does color commentary, and that doesn’t just go for women, I feel the same way about a Tom Verducci or anyone else. It seems like their

I was at the game against the Braves in 2000 where they rallied to score 10 runs in the 8th inning after being down 8-0, capped by a 3-run HR from Piazza. That stadium was going absolutely nuts. I’m a Yankees fan and that’s still probably my favorite game that I saw in person.
