Jezzies, I lived on both coasts before putting roots down here in Madtown, WI, and let me tell you all, Hook's 10 Year Cheddar is tops. It makes Cabot & Tilamook look like the run-of-the-mill cojack you throw into the toaster quesadillas you make after a night at the bars.

My favorite was when I was picking up my anti-depressant meds from Target pharmacy and one of those register coupons printed out for Ben & Jerry's. The meds were clearly working because I found it HI-larious. ;)

@missclavel: I'm actually applying to be a model for the 2011 Colondar, the calendar of which you speak. I could have used some colorectal cancer awareness when I first started pooping blood @ 33yo (I'm 35 today and two years out from treatment for stage III rectal cancer).

How about someone launch the Jezebel Pageant Series? One of the contests could be for Little Miss Tomboy: the girl with the greenest grass stains, the biggest bug collection, and the most elaborate mud pie wins a lifetime supply of Legos. That might be a pageant of which I would let my two year old within a hundred

@Hammer Pants: I tried to reply to your post but it got all mucked up (see: below), just wanted to reiterate that if you need a good online resource regarding colorectal cancer, the Colon Club was a great source of info and support to me when I was going through treatment for stage III rectal cancer @ 33yo, 4.5 months

I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. :(
