I have an 05 Legacy GT limited with the black leather interior. That generation Legacy, which stopped in 09, is the last one that interests me at all, and even 14 years later I still love the interior, it’s held up shockingly well at 135k.

The car I cleaned up just took some elbow grease and the right cleaning chemicals to fix the interior. The mechanicals took a little more work, I’m not positive how long it sat, but the inspection sticker in the window expired in 97, as well as the plate on it.

This is clean-able, in my experience. This doesn’t take a flood or being under water to happen, I fixed a car with this problem and it was just from sitting in a garage with the windows cracked for a long time. It is a bunch of work to clean, but as long as the price reflects the extra work, no big deal. That fender

Very late reply, but also very dumb.

You must be a Saab owner

I have an 05 limited (leather) sedan, that I got from the original owner who cared for it meticulously. Even in great shape I’m still spending too much to keep it up. And I don’t even mind that it seems to go through brake calipers like they’re going out of style.

OE Saab parts exist new. There were a few years after they went under where OEM parts were scarce, but that’s just not the case anymore. Things that were out of stock/NLA for a long time are now being manufactured, in many cases by the original suppliers.

I checked the Android site myself after reading your comment, Mazda is listed as coming soon.

As the company that is focused on driving dynamics, I could see a case for Mazda being the one company that would let me have the high line car with the transmission I want, despite what the consumer research says the rest of the beige appliance mfrs should do.

I did not realize Mazda is still not offering modern infotainment. AA released Mar 2015, CarPlay Mar 2014, what gives?

No. Way.

Given the platform sharing (check out that Saab climate control panel on the Lancia dash!), I’ve always thought it would be neat to get one of these and make it look like a Saab, sort of like this, but with more Ferrari V8:

If I tried to guess how many I’ve had, it would take me quite some time, and I would probably forget some, anyway. Currently I have about 12 of them sitting in or around my shop, but most of them aren’t mine.

Will do. I just bough it this summer, took a 1600 mile round trip to pick it up, and had to reassemble the dashboard once I got it home. All after a years-long search for a non-rusty example.

@IDriveASaabAndNobodyIsToBlame, it’s a CC, 91 Turbo model, DI with APC and no traction control and manual trans, the only year for that setup in that particular body style.

Most of the cars in my neighborhood are pretty average, except for what you find in my yard. The 9-5 wagon looks average, but it’s a manual. The pair of 91's in the garage are impossibly rare.

Class of ‘13 checking in. Beer at the stadium?

Hey I made it! Does that mean I can get out of the grays now?

I drove from Cleveland to Detroit to haggle with a shady used car lot over a cash+trade deal, their 1994 9000 Aero and cash for my 2000 9-3. This was back in ~08.

Definite NP.
