These two posts one million times, plus. Elizabeth Warren continues to slowly but surely rise, appropriately stealing the share from both Biden and Sanders. With an authentic message, and without the baggage of being another old white man in the mix.

Super disappointed to find nothing else filed under this. We need more communist motherfucking stories.

Or he just might be a psychopath. Everyday run of the mill criminals don't have the luxury of saying their brain got destroyed during football.

A moron who’s gotten away with this behavior his whole life bc he’s a star athlete.

Don’t worry, they are launching a Community Safety Education, which will be an “initiative to ensure everyone who uses Lyft always remembers what behavior is acceptable in a ride.” This is per an Instragram ad I saw in my stories. I’m glad I’ll be able to learn that rape is not acceptable behavior during a ride.

He was a great Doctor. I’m so sorry for his struggles.

When did everyone turn into babies who care only about their utmost comfort all the time? It might make me uncomfortable to be in a suboptimal seat, but it’s not so bad that I can’t help out a mom or someone similarly situated.

Can nobody here read? I said that if you want to keep your seat, keep your seat.

As someone with a child (16 months) I have found that the only organization that seperates more families than ICE is American Airlines. I would say almost half of our reservations have had plane or seat changes that leave the 3 of us scattered around the plane. Usually I just get to the gate agent and they take care

There are a lot of poor assumptions in this article and in the comments. I fly many times a year with my two small children. I usually book months in advance. I always check in online. We are USUALLY seated apart, even after reserving adjacent seats. The only way to repair the reservation is to pay for an upgrade. The

They can survive without each other for a few hours, and if their need for each other was really that dire, they could have planned in advance and booked seats next to each other. Stay put.

Another wrinkle to this. Some airlines have started selling an even more basic version of economy seats where you don’t get to choose your seats. The first time we encountered this (and we fly fairly regularly) the site we bought them through didn’t make it completely clear. My kids are young and both, at the time,

The world needs more people like you and far, far less of those on here calling everyone in a middle seat a loser who didn’t plan accordingly, far enough in advance, etc. You don’t know how someone ends up booking a flight last-minute, the possibilities are endless, and oftentimes are exactly the reason you state:

I get the main point of this article, but there is a lot of unnecessary judgement here in the comment section. Sometimes a person cheaps out on their ticket or books a flight late so that they are forced into an unappealing seat, but many times a person doesn’t get to pick at all. I often travel for work, and I am

But how else will I feel morally superior and tough, if not for at my keyboard?

We rarely know everything behind a stranger’s situation. Maybe she had a death in the family and booked last-minute tickets to attend the funeral. Maybe another family member just called to say they’re suicidal or in desperate medical condition, and she dropped everything and booked the only seats she could grab.

Most of this could be solved if airlines (and now movie theatres, too) didn’t put so many of us in this weird, awkward, class-charged predicament.

Had a guy on Southwest that wanted my aisle seat near the back.  I was in the B boarding group, he was probably in C.  I said no, but you can have the open middle.  Another reason I prefer assigned seats so as not to have to deal with entitled Southwest cult customers.
