When you used to run into gyms with 4 Blissey, 3 Snorlax and a smattering of others there was no way it wasn’t going to take ages. Now with only 6 and no doubles, it’s much easier and fun to take a gym. Level 32 now but really only recently started to focus on the fighting aspect as well.

I think you can do more damage than you realize! I only recently started paying attention to types, but certain mons can rip vastly superior CP opponents if the match-up is right. 1500 Cloyster can destroy 3000 Dragonites. It’s nice being able to take down a full gym solo now. It used to seem impossible unless you had tons of mons and a couple hours to spare. I can knock an entire gym out in 10 minutes alone it’s awesome.

I have this happen a fair amount too. If you manually change the time on your phone to about 10 minutes ahead it should stop and you can add.

Can just imagine the noise of my head hitting the pipe trying to go under one of those things.
