Very much, but still just as true. It’s not like this is a demo from some unknown start-up pitching a revolution like SOLAR FREAKING ROADWAYS. It’s from a company so entrenched in their industry that their name usually used by people as a generic term not even realizing it’s a brand name.

You really need the equivalent of an optical transistor to really unlock light-based computing. Then you get not only interconnects, but everything. Routing, logic, computation....the whole enchilada.
