Can someone explain to this noob, how the Panasonic IPS TV in this post compares to the Panasonic ST60 plasmas that have recently been discontinued? The plasma goes for $200 more. Is it worth it? How does this IPS tv compare in the realm of IPS LCD's?

I've tried various apps for Android and they never really work 100%. Even Google/Google Now fails to ID at least a quarter of my shipping notifications (tracking ID's). It's kind of surprising how no one good dev/company has stepped up to create a "best" solution.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. This unit is rated as the best TV by many reputable sources. Also, Panasonic isn't a fly-by-night company. I am sure they will, at least, honor the warranty period.
