Those were the most horrible, hipster choices ever. I hate all of that stuff. Anyway, a real answer would be Paul Thomas Anderson.

Sounds like a winner. Gotta say though… Jenny Slate is criminally unfunny on television shows. Really, anything she doesn't write herself. Very, very bad.

Saw these guys last year in Jersey. They were so full of energy. Great show.

Enlightened is like my old receptionist. She discretely pleased me several times and no one has to know about it. I watched this show because I like White and Dern and Wilson and Mothersbaugh. I loved the quiet, meditative reflections in the midst of the zany impulses. It just felt pretty and real and on point. Great

Frank Miller….. he ruled my comics life as a young person. Now? I snicker when I hear he's developing a project.

Two of the most brainless, soulless hit-makers ever make music.

not harder than Smash TV

AH DUHHHH. There's more CASH in fleshing out a few side characters in an ORIGINAL story that compliments the main narrative. Make a Old Man Boba Fett game!

Dead Inside: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire

I hope this finally gets made. The story is TOO good. I just wonder if they will change Arseface's name to Assface for American audiences. That would be a grave mistake.

I just cruises through this show on Netlfix. The writer is remiss in not mentioning the shows huge heart. This series is odd and clever and ALWAYS coming from a genuinely heartfelt place, even when the characters are being horrible to each other. This is my second favorite sitcom, next to Modern Family. I'm tickled

After a show in Colorado, they were killed in a car accident. The band felt uneasy when they didn't show up to the next show and they were devastated to find out that they

or Stargate: Atlantis? I don't know about this…

All television is manipulative, I guess. I see your point.

My mom tried to play "fece" in Scrabble one time. Had to challenge it after laughing for 5 minutes.

More manipulative television.I like it though. You can't double feature this with Derek though… too depressing.

King of Queens was a solid sitcom. No discussion needed here. While a balsa wood comedy show ala Anger Management smells like a sell-out, if you like Kevin James and his cronies… you'll be a happy camper. I like Kevin James… so I hate the happy campers show up.

Mike Allred's art has a straight hardline connection to the
pleasure centers of my brain.

Yeah, this definitely stings a bit.

I always thought Breaking Bad was a deft fusion of character-driven & plot-driven narrative. The show is propelled by the transformation of one character and how it hurts everyone around him. There's the McGuffin (money) and the Anti-MacGuffin (cancer) and that has played out PERFECTLY in this show. Can he survive the
