Regardless of the rational (and I do agree with you) he was still impeached by his own party (mainly because they despised him. )

I wonder who's covering her spot underneath the bridge to scare the goats?

Andrew Johnson?

That's what the sweet sweet $$$$$ are for.

I feel like the term "ill fitting" has been thrown around way too much nowadays.

How would you top that?

Well…..at least we know they wouldn't have been able to complain about the air conditioning during the drafting of the Declaration.

Maybe he just really likes local grown produce?

"Rural New England" Confederate Flags"

It's AV Club…..so zany comedies about misplaced workers in a new age industry?

?

I feel that the US industrial strength would have reasserted itself years down the line and re-incorporated many of these territories and lost states (obviously with long term effects as a result of that)

Honestly, the whole US Mexico relationship circa 1900-1925 should be it's own thing. Revolution, Armed incursions, US Battles etc

God….that was such a good movie

If I remember correctly from of the shittier Al-history books about this, the the whole rational for the Confederacy existing in their books was that the US lost the Battle of Antietam and the British stepped in to stop the war.

That there hasn't been a lot?

The sad thing is……most Americans know jack about the First World War. If I remember my high school lessons: Kept us out of war, Kept us out of war, Entered War, Supplied money and supplies, fought in the Argonne, Treaty of Versailles, 14 points, League of Nations can go fuck itself.

He defiantly could have been worse. We're lucky he wasn't like his other Generals and try to get his army to run off into the hills and fight a Guerrilla war for the next 5 years.

Lincoln wanted easy terms to bring the Confederacy back to the Union (10% plan for example), the hardcore Republicans kinda wanted but obviously backed better terms for the freedman, that is until they sold the ship for Hayes

I understand, I guess, that's it's a literary trope at this point but has there been a lot of Alternative History TV Shows or movies on lately (obviously Man in the High Castle)?
