What, it just so happens that literally every notable event in Han Solo’s life prior to ANH occurred within the space of a week.

Some of the actors, Emilia Clarke in particular, we’re having a rough time with L&M because they were unable to really articulate to her what the hell she was supposed to be playing. So she was definitely relieved by the changing of the guard. Woody, however, (a far more seasoned actor who probably needed much less

Being forced to remember that Han Solo naming scene is like ripping open an old wound that never completely healed. Who could possibly care why Han Solo was named “Han Solo”? What fans were serviced in learning that, instead of happening to have a cool surname that happened to thematically resonate with the character,

I keep saying that the problem with the new Star Wars projects is that the original run was paying homage to Kurosawa, Westerns, and adventure serials, whereas the new run is paying homage to...Star Wars.  It’s just a big circle jerk now.  That’s why the Mandalorian was so good:  it went back to the idea of drawing

I think the problem has more to do with the quantity of the fan service in SW products than its quality.

The success of the Mandalorian should tell you that most of the fans want the Skywalker saga to continue.”

Every Star Wars movie and TV show has its fans, but those two probably inspire the least amount of passion.

Yeah but since they’d let Lord and Miller get as far as they did without noticing there was something they didn’t like for whatever reason, that’s really a failure of oversight on their part and at that point, they would have been better off letting them finish at that point.

The Last Jedi was pretty drama free, at least the making of it. The reaction, not so much.

Everybody loves Baby Yoda, and I thought the episode was awesome. But it would have been more awesome as an episode of The Mandalorian. This is a completely different show, allegedly, and I would have preferred to see an episode about Fennec and Black K having adventures offworld to track down Mando or negotiating

“The Book of Boba Fett” is conceived from the beginning as “Mandalorian 2.5" rather than its own thing.

As hard as it is to imagine, there was a time when many people were very excited about Star Wars.

The recurring flaw in the Star Wars universe is the gatekeepers continue trying to double-down on things and ideas that have already succeeded instead of attempting to break new ground. Even when they stumble into something new and good like “The Mandalorian,” their next move with “The Book of Boba Fett” is conceived

Honestly I’m fine with Boba Fett being a chump. I could never understand why he had such a following. Well, aside from the jetpack, of course. Jetpacks are always cool. Other than that he’s a guy that wisely played a hunch by staying behind when the Imperial fleet went to hyperspace in ESB and... that’s it.

The thing about the Boba Fett show is that... it doesn’t feel like a show that anyone wanted to make, really.

Fett has always been a hired gun, never the guy doing the hiring. He’s the guy who thinks he can do a better job than management without having any idea as to how to do the job.

No spoilers, but when they finally revealed what Mrs Chamberlain (Jeanne Trippelhorn) did to deserve being shunned by every human being in the five boroughs and the entire tri state area, I almost fell off the couch laughing.

in palm beach florida pie fucks you!

So is she gonna fuck a pie in this or no?

I’ll say it: I didn’t find Benedict Cumberbatch convincing as a cowboy at all. Plemmons and Dunst were great- and better (and honestly, I wish the story was more about Dunst’s character, and her decent into alcoholism) but the lead performance is the most showy, so naturally it’s going to get all the attention.
