I think the lesson is more people watch cable news or read political/news sites when they're side is losing and they have something to be angry about. MSNBC's numbers are way up for the Trump clown show, and Breitbart will have a resurgence when there's a Democrat they can blame shit on.

Scrubs is my all-time favorite comedy, maybe my favorite series overall. There was definitely a dip for a couple seasons in the middle, and season 9 is basically a less-than-stellar spinoff, but Bill Lawrence and co. balanced goofy comedy and heartfelt drama in a way no series has been able to repeat.
