Not to sound obsessed with "Cheers," but that show did a pretty great job of referencing past events and characteristics of varying significance.

555 is actually a working prefix, which I didn't know until a couple years ago.

Besides the "house beer," "house vodka," etc. arguments for infrequent customers, my only other thought is if it's a regular customer, they already know what kind he'd prefer. Norm Peterson always ordered "beer" but he'd been a regular for so long they knew what he wanted. Plus, the '80s were a dark time as far as

In the midst of Season 2 when T-Dog SPOKE I was shocked. Let alone did anything.

Sometimes in real life it's just a shitty bartender/waiter.

That's a good point. I just figure even the little stuff is done knowingly. Like, out of nowhere, the "Dexter" showrunners knowingly made LaGuerta stop hitting on Dexter, even though it wasn't that central to the plot. I feel like showrunners don't just forget things.

I've seen them, like, twenty-five times. Tommy Shaw, when I was, like, sixteen years old, I was at the concert, he actually reached out and grabbed my hand, pulled me up on stage, and I got to do the robot voice for Mr. Roboto!

MILF! MILF! MILF!

Like when Cho said he was trained in fencing, calling back to crazy shirtless Sulu running around the Enterprise swinging a sword.

I guess that depends. I'm a fan of the new Star Trek movies and I like John Cho, so for me it's a good thing.

It's true, but at least that was BB's "thing." They revolved entire seasons around the in media res sequences. They didn't employ it from time to time for fun.

Frasier Crane was an only child with deceased parents until "Frasier" started, at which point he had a brother and his father was still alive. They retconned it that Frasier never told anyone about his brother (due to embarrassment, maybe?), and that he claimed his father was dead because they were having an argument

“can you enhance the image?”

Who thought 10 years ago a headline would begin with "'Star Trek’s' John Cho"?

And yeah, I always liked that one.

I just found this "Top 10 Scariest Logos" on YouTube. Haven't actually watched it yet, though.

"CAN'T WAIT"

Didn't they change the name of that show partway through?

I'm not really a cheerleader for big corporations getting their due, but I hope you're right.

I love this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it!
