It's ok. I'm not mad. Because you're right.

I'll admit part of me ad died inside when I heard Harmon was leaving (especially after seeing the I.T. Crowd US pilot). This article is like a sweet kiss followed by a swift punch in the face because I still want to see Community, and the things I'm hearing from the new showrunners make me think they could pull it off

Given the notoriously esoteric spelling of Cajun-inspired names, plus the velocity with which new names are introduced, multiplied by the influx of the Vietnamese characters, I might have to watch this show with subtitles/captions from now on just to be sure. I doubt anyone will hold it against you.

Glad to see Linh getting proper spelling. I write a review for this show for another site, and even though I looked it up on IMDb, my regard for you was such that I still questioned myself every time I read a review here. I also want to be clear: I'm not questioning your integrity as a critic. That's not my intent. I'm just trying to get a grasp on the discord between my own reaction, my reading of critical texts, and resulting the positive reception.
I suppose you could say I was just "posting out loud" my personal reaction to a

I understand that in an academic sense. I'm not claiming some grad conspiracy to vaunt an objectively bad show (no such show exists, really). It's just weird to me to see so much more equivocating and qualification than I'm used to.
I do not like this show. I've seen each episode thus far at least twice. I read these

Well for one my post was clearly addressed to critics, so other posts on this board don't enter into my thesis.
Also, the author said the shows plot lines were run of the mill, and then gave a defense of just showing the characters' faces as a reason it rises above that problem. So what's my reading comprehension

That would be easier to believe if so many reviews didn't begin from the perspective of "this is cliched and obvious storytelling, but…"
It smacks of making excuses for a show you think ought to be better. When half your review sounds like a takedown and the other half is spent trying to explain why it isn't (via some

So… boring, cliched plots are ok if they are shot in the most obvious, simplistic way possible?

And by extension Olivia Munn.

Now I have an imagine in my head of Brett Ratner eating and masturbating. This is the worst day of my life. Thanks, AVClub!

Maybe it is just me, but I can't look up TV shows on this thing.
