The Disco 5 is 195” or thereabouts. This is longer at 211”.

Agree, though I was in HS in the early 00s and nobody had these, I don’t think. Lots of Grand Prix/Am, Tempos, and K-cars, but I can’t recall any Luminas. Maybe they’d all have rotted away by then…

Remember five years ago when NA Miatas could be had for about as much as it now costs to fill up your gas tank? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

As someone who lives in high humidity and burns easily, the best convertible for *summer* is something with a roof and good air conditioning. Convertible season is October through early December and like two days in mid May 😂

Honestly Oz beating McCormick will be the best thing for Fetterman. PA republicans tend to skew more fiscally conservative than socially conservative (insomuch as wanting to impose their social will on others), so as a fairly pro-business Democrat, Fetterman may win them over. I hope.

How much “acting” will it really be, though? I’m hoping it’s just Cara and Selena channeling 2014 vibes.

I was angry at myself when I didn’t buy one when they were like $6k. Then I was angry at myself that I didn’t buy one when they were like $10k. I soon will be angry at myself for not buying one when they are $15k etc repeat until death.

The BMW diesels are “reliable” in the sense that you probably won’t be broken down on the side of the road, but need expensive maintenance, oh, right around this mileage. Plus the ZF trans starts acting weird if it’s never been maintained…right around this mileage. Plus engine mounts and anything else made of rubber.

Unfortunately I like to vacation in OCMD so it’s a difficult proposition to own a GTI :D

I really wanted to buy a CPO Giulia or Stelvio but they’re just too much $$ for too little. To get any real features you’re looking at spending more than a comparable CPO BMW or Audi which…nah.

Comfortable seats. I know, crash standards and all that blah blah blah, but there hasn’t been a comfy, plush car seat since they stopped making the Town Car.

Compare Toyota to Honda, Ford, Chevy, whatever. They definitely have more semi-similar models within their lineup than the rest. Not counting hybrids, the Crown will be their 8th CUV (RIP Land Cruiser) on sale vs. Honda with 4, Ford with 6 (not RIP Ecosport), and Chevy with 7 (although that counts the Trax).

Does Toyota think there’s some award for “most models of CUV/SUV available at one time”? Their offerings are overwhelming.

All of the onus is on the delivery services charging a “delivery fee” and calling this a “tip”. If you’re gonna play the card of the drivers being independent contractors, then just be clear with the consumer - it’s a “DoorDash admin fee” and the tip is actually “delivery pickup incentive”. Greater the incentive,

Sorry, I choked a little after reading “as low as 4.99%”. Most CUs have 3.75 or thereabouts for the 73-84 month tier.

On the other hand, when messages are delivered subtly or via context, today’s half-attentive audience will likely miss the message. Movies and TV do tend to underestimate the intelligence of the audience, but perhaps that’s for good reason. You need only read IMDB reviews of anything that requires thought to hear

Do you think the next stage going to be “that one guy in college who nobody wants to drive with because although he’s never crashed he just doesn’t give a shit about road signs or common decency so every trip is like being in an auto cross race”?

Look at the photos in the article of the CX-50. Tell me that interior is not lame for a $40,000 car.

I know, I know. But check out the new Outback Touring, it’s quite nice at its price point. Definitely more modern looking that what is shown in this article.

I can’t help but feel that Mazda came *so close but not quite* to besting the Subaru Outback. So close. The interior just doesn’t hold up. Subaru has stepped up their fit & finish game and Mazda seems…a little cheap. For $42k, it’s just not there yet.
