Yeah, this article seems to be missing a paragraph. It reads like comparing apples to ducks. Two totally different items. 

Once upon a time, I sat next to a total stranger on an airplane. Without any conversation with us, somehow naturally it worked out that we shared the armrest, me taking the front half while her elbow used the rear half.

All the above comparisons have shown me is that the Ranger really makes no logical sense at all. It’s longer than a F150, only two inches narrower, and gets worse gas mileage. Sure it appears cheaper but I bet there’s more incentives on the F150 (normally at least). 

I bought a house in December of 18, it’s now up 100%. I bought a cheap used car in April of 19, it’s…well, probably still not worth anything but at least I’m not trying to buy a car now. Every day I thank my stars I’m as fortunate as I am.

My takeaway from this article is that Europeans buy a truck if they need a truck, and only buy the truck they *need*, not the one they want for the once every two year caravaning trip.

In one product cycle, GM will flip the script and start charging $50 for the “stop/start delete” option. 

Looking at the videos, I’d want the Hybrid with just a slightly nicer interior (fake leather would be nice, plus some type of cold weather package). Hopefully that comes in about $25k.
