Maybe I need to break out a tape measure, but the pizzas (at least in my region) all seem significantly smaller recently. Granted I only order maybe three times a year and I’m comparing this to 3-4 years ago, but they seem to be a solid ~1.5 inches in diameter smaller than several years ago, but still are the same

I think people finally have realized that a $4 Wendy’s burger isn’t all that different than a $12 chain restaurant burger. Also that without being able to sit at a table for two hours eating unlimited breadsticks, Olive Garden (which was struggling pre-pandemic) really isn’t worth it.

Holy crap. I was pissed when the average large pizza price around me sauntered into the double digits (it’s now like $16). Pizza should always be at 1995 prices, dammit.

Exactly this. Use flashers when you’re at the end of a line of cars in a torrential rain storm where it’s likely a car otherwise wouldn’t see you until they’re dangerously close.

Needs more stars.

Hey man, I don’t want to aggressively disagree. But say you and your mate were happy being at home with each other.

I can honestly say as a PA resident, those of us with any sort of social conscious are considering leaving. Shit has gotten really, really bad since 2014 and it’s not turning around. While at a national level the state will almost always be blue (though I wasn’t surprised by PA swinging to trump in 16), locally

My experience too. My mom wasn’t all that old by modern standards (she was 34 when she had me) but was by far the oldest of my friends’ parents growing up. She was fairly indifferent as a parent and is indifferent times a hundred as a grandmother.

Nah, the tooth procedure makes no sense. I’ve had alllll the dental work - either it’s minor and silly and it’s just like “excuse me spitting on you because my left side is still numb” or you’re stoned on the couch trying not to breathe too hard lest it hurts. There’s a 0% chance (well, maybe like 2%) that he’d have a

This is still my favorite:

Honestly not bad. I wish the dash was a little nicer (the Mk7 Golf was pretty good) but it’ll do. Hopefully the engine is as tuneable as the 1.8t because 158hp seems like...not enough.

Yes and no. I bought a high mileage 5 series knowing what I was getting into, and (more importantly) knowing the history of the car. I put in ~$1200 of expected work and it’s been great ever since.

Agreed. I want to like this, but there’s nothing about an almost 12-year-old, semi-economy car with only 227hp that inspires passion, especially as the price.

I understand your premise but disagree with your phrasing. “Much bigger” than a Corolla = Highlander or larger. A RAV4 vs. Corolla is just a rounding error.

And that, right there, is the end of the argument. Get this perfectly acceptable EV for $48k (less a $7500 fed credit which you’ll be waiting for) or buy this equally perfectly acceptable Focus / Corolla / whatever for $24k. How many years of 100mpge vs 35mpg will it take for you to break even, hmmmm?

There’s a lot of concern over this fleet vs retail argument. As someone who has purchased several new, fleet-only Ford products (and I’m def not a fleet), it isn’t hard to find a dealership willing to make a fleet of one. If you’ve got the money, they’ve got the time.

All of the lights burning out makes me think power surge of some type. Strange that no fuses were blown. What makes a VW, a VW...

It is both spelled and used properly. Sorry grandma.

My only argument with what you’re saying is that BJ’s is *not* low tier and I will die on this bill.
