Which makes sense since I’m in Philly 😜

That was my thought too. This is the beginning of the end for the current iteration of the royal family; while some (most?) might celebrate that, we’ll see soon what and how much they were holding together.

Everybody is so grumpy on a Friday.

I swear that one of my favorite ice breaker questions when I’m with new people in a group setting is: when you eat kiwis, do you eat the fur?

My favorite image of all time:

Adam, why do you hate this person so much? A FOCUS?! A 2012 Focus. With the transmission from hell. Come on.

I’m about a month after my second Moderna. My arm still feels...something. My strength and endurance is still suffering. Still worth it though.

I was bored a few months ago and just rewatched the whole series in about a week’s time. It holds up WAY better when you can watch the character develop in essential real time, vs waiting 8 years and forgetting the foreshadowing. This is often why books feel more “complete” than a show.

The part that lifts: the door.

We’re now in a world where wiring harnesses are falling apart after less than a decade; while that Volvo (cool choice!) will probably last forever, a 2015 Volvo very well may not.

Based on what I see with a lot of vehicles today, years in existence create more wear and points of failure than actual miles, thanks to things like the ample use of plastic and wiring harnesses made of acorn flavored wrappings.

A motherfuckin’ Ford Ranger!

Wow, your house in beautiful. Is that a real candle chandelier?!

I always knew there was a reason I liked you ;)

I will admit, I’m a weirdo: I have dinner at my dining room table every night, even if I’m by myself.

In spite of what is covered, Nio’s future looks pretty decent and it has just as much a chance as Xpeng to succeed. Nio has the benefit of being a bit more affordable and has the opportunity to be profitable long term.

It is shocking, right? Essentially since it’s a kit car, I’d think a Caterham would be like $15k Max plus engine. But 🤷🏻‍♂️

I fell that too few people sear the fat cap (although the prevalence of steak TikTok videos is changing that). The fatty side should liquify and get crunchy and the rest of the steak needs to cook in that deliciousness.

These things are everywhere and nowhere. Like they’re so prevalent and also so “CUV like” that if you’re not a car person, they blend right in. My gf and I had a game for about half a day where she’d message me every time she saw one, because she had claimed to never seen one in real life before (this was like a month

The one pictured is a bit much, but I agree that the last good CRV was the last version (5th Gen? Like up to ‘05) that had the spare tire on the back.
