I actually hate the bodykit, but the Callaway tuned engine is interesting. I NP’d it but it’s most like “meh price”. It would be worth it at like $8k and definitely overpriced at $12k. So...meh?

Probably depends on if they’ve filed for 2020 or it by the time the payments are supposed to roll out.

Or I just don’t live in a place like Southern California. Up until recently, 1% per year appreciation in my area was amazingly high. Coupled with real estate commissions, transfer taxes, and repairs / improvements, it’s not been a huge windfall.

Because when every day is just 24 hours closer to your inevitable demise, and there’s nothing left out there that’s worth looking forward to, any little bit of enjoyment counts as being worth the cost.

Because Land Rover. It’s basically a modified, supercharged Coyote V8, too.

Oooh somebody let it overheat! The coolant crossover (thanks Ford!) is a part that goes quickly and once it goes, overheating is next to follow. If it overheats once, goodbye. Either that or the timing chain tensioner broke and boom.

A 9mm socket...

Used car prices have gotten stupid lately. You used to be able to pick up something running and in acceptable shape for $1500 or less...not anymore.

Not all abusers show those tendencies in all relationships. Just because one person was “unharmed” does not invalidate the claims of others.

In the early days, the BLM, Dept of Indian Affairs, Homeland, and several other agencies all bought a metric ton of first gen Raptors (comparatively so). Wonder if they’re still buying Raptors, in these days of higher scrutiny...?

You’re totally right. It used to be that when you graduated from Subaru and wanted to step up, you went to Audi. Now, you go to Volvo. Or maybe a used Lexus RX.

You know what I want to see more than full government healthcare? Government standardized code charges. Medical code XXXX by law must cost the same (or caps out at a certain $$) in CA as it does in AR as it does in MA. It’s a start to figuring out this mess.

I’m continually amazed at Volvo’s low volume. A XC60 or XC90 seems like every fifth car I see in the Northeast US. I would have guessed their total volume was 800k in the US alone.

Problem is most humans don’t eat “human grade” food, sooooo

It’s not swapped because the truck is a 2014 Raptor. The skin has been swapped, not the frame / drivetrain / interior. It’s essentially a body kit.

The interior wasn’t swapped

I like it too. Though technically the interior is *not* swapped, just the exterior. #pedantic

It’s partly because elective procedures, the stuff that actually makes money, have dried up considerably. A vast majority of people in the ER (at least around me) either have state insurance or are destitute, so the hospital has the obligation to treat but isn’t receiving any/much funds.  You also can’t balance bill

That’s what I’m thinking. I’d have way more fun and less hassle with this than modding a Miata or something German. It’s never going to be worth significantly less than it is now, and the seat hopefully can just be reupholstered. NP, and I’d never would have thought I’d be seriously considering a Corvette.
