I feel like we get into this argument frequently on NP/ND, but...that’s not the point. *I* don’t want this thing to drive, and I’m sure most people don’t. But it’s priced well for the market and there’s a lot of collectors out there that would want to snap it up, therefore NP.

Wtf is with the voting? It’s a clean, classic, original, low mileage, BTF-era Toyota pickup for less than $10k in a place with no rust. NP for all day, keep it pristine and it’ll be worth triple (or more) pretty soon.

I’ve owned various houses since I was 22 (I’m almost 40 now). I AM SO DONE. It’s always worry, always fixing something, always landscaping or repairing or upgrading. I DIY it most not because I necessarily want to save money, but because getting a contractor in to do ANYTHING is damn near impossible, even before the

That’s such a cool story!

Discount decomposed fur coats! Just a little dirty and stretched out. The perfect fashion trend for 2020.

Pick and pull yards basically taught me how to fix everything on my car. It’s amazing the amount of learning you can do on how to, say, replace suspension components or change a timing belt or swap head gaskets when you can practice on a car you don’t care about.

US insurance, I’m sure you’re aware, has both liability and first party benefits (comp & collision). Liability will almost always (check your state) go with the driver, even if you’re in a new car. First party depends on the insurance company, though most will give you at least five business days to do a transfer.

I honestly don’t want to get into a pissing contest about whether JLR or VWs are more reliable but...yeah that’s like saying the restaurant with only cockroaches is better than the restaurant with rats.

If #COTD was still a thing, you deserve it.

I purchased the ETFMG Alternative Harvest (MJ) ETF about two years ago. It’s tanked, still down 50% from when I bought it. Looking at the price today, it’s up a bit, but still not great.

I’m much more impressed by the transmission and suspension parts that the engine, tbh.

At first I thought that was $50 *per person* which, while kinda high, doesn’t seem out of the realm of reality. It’s $46 and some change TOTAL, or less than $4.70 per person.

I’m now going to be thinking about this and making a bad decision all weekend. Thanks, Rob.

Would you prefer the gubmint require you to paint your registration numbers on the car, like a bus or police car?  Actually, that may not be that bad of an idea...

People get mad because that $20k, $50k, whatever could STILL BE IN THEIR POCKETS if debt was cancelled previously. It’s not, in most cases, that they want young people to be punished; it’s just seems unfair that they get a benefit that we can’t touch.

Get out of here with your logic.

My old-ass F10 5 series is still worth just as little as it was worth last year. In general, I’m not seeing prices for F10s changing much. Likely the reason the “average” 5 series is going up is because more old and cheap F10s are dying and therefore a higher percentage of transactions are the more expensive and newer

I just bought a decently sized, decently upgrade townhome in a decently nice suburb of Cleveland for $75k that I’m gonna use as a rental property. Before you go eye-rolling, it’s also in the same general neighborhood (and school district) as $750k-1M homes, too. There’s still value out there if you know where to look,

Uh, no. Read what I said. The Democratic platform should be fiscal support WITHOUT crossing the line to perceived socialism (ie: government gives free stuff to everyone). Increasing the threshold of who “needs” support would work, as that’s fiscal policy to increase monetary circulation - but not handouts to *all
