Ominous title for a memoir.

Bringing up Mad Men was a mistake, and I’m sorry. The reason I did it was that during Mad Men’s run, almost everything I heard about it was about the women on the show and what they went through. Namely; adultery, rape and, of course, workplace sexual harassment.

Who is Aaron Staton?

Just because the Advertising Industry recruited a lot of women and/or became one of the earliest industries with powerful women doesn’t mean there wasn’t workplace sexual harassment or metaphorical glass ceilings. In fact, that makes it more likely Advertising was one of the first places both became a big deal.

Why can’t talented people just be talented? Why does harassment or some other form of bullying come up?

Possibly stupid take, but maybe it’s because someone at the top is too afraid of the X-Men’s “wokeness.”

Never seen Halloween 4, but I have seen the ending of Halloween 2, where Michael Myers was shot in both eyes.

Maybe at one time, this would reassure me. But since 2020, if not 2016, it’s been clear that those running the GOP show, whomever running they are, don’t care about any “majority” that doesn’t conveniently want the same things they do.

Wouldn’t this backfire?

If anything I expect Russell Brand will soon be hosted by Prince Andrew.

But I haven’t even gotten to the endings yet.

There’s a subplot where Shadowheart experiences intense pain in her right hand. Are you sure that’s not connected?

I’m sorry, but Gawker had way worse dirt on him than “he was gay.”

Peter Thiel is EXACTLY that snowflake.

Now playing

That show got two things perfect; the Theme song and the voice for Apocalypse.

And Madonna is NOT “a one trick pony,” or at least she wasn’t always.

Cyndi Lauper deserved better than she got, no argument there. But the 80s were the start of the “Reagan Counter-Reformation” as I like to call it.

I thought he was banned.

Anyone seen Repo Man, starring Emilio Estevez? “Bob, from Batman” was in that one. He played the crazy mechanic Miller, who told everyone somthing about John Wayne that... They didn’t want to hear. Now if any 80s side character deserverd their own movie, it was Repo Man’s Miller (and Jimmy Two Times, but that’s
