I agree with you, though I think making the Agents of SHIELD officially canon for the MCU does create some complexities, but nothing that can’t be dealt with. I am curious to see how the MCU introduces the mutant characters and if they will get back to Inhumans at all (other than alt-universe cameos). I haven’t

Years ago, I was a PhD student for English at a pretty prestigious university. To help pay for tuition, I got a gig as a TA for a business writing class. For one assignment, students were given a case study, based on a real case, where they were asked to to imagine themselves as the CEO of a manufacturing company who

I could believe the Skrulls are using some en hanced version that is safer. In the comics, Iron Man eventually develops and safe version of Extremis, though somewhat less powerful. I don’t think that idea  ever came up in the MCU other than Stark finding a way to remove the Extremis from Pepper at the end of Iron Man

Right, I agree about his Super Skrull status. I was wondering about the Extremis process specifically. Both in the sense of connections to AIM/ Stark Tech and the scientists helping to develop Super Skrull tech (not sure of they are also Skrulls or sympathetic humans, or what). And the fact that the AIM version of

Right, I am not sure how long “Bob” had been replaced by a Skrull. Like I would assume the swap was relatively recent since keeping the human alive in the mind-reading booth at FukuSkrulla would have a logical time limit. I mean if the swap had been made many years in the past, it would make sense that SkrullBob might

I am obviously over thinking this, but in the rush to hit the plot points, the story jumps over a lot of details I wonder about. I mean first off, wouldn’t the rebel Skrulls be very keen to prevent any human civilians from discovering their bodies, but Gravik just keep killing Skrulls and leaving them out unburied in

I read that as there being three times the number of words foer written, non-voiced dialog in the game as there is written text in the Lord of the Rings novels. But I could be mistaken

I dunno, the trailer has the gag about various Kens being eager to "beach off" one another...

Or the bad guy Skrulls could keep using her face to taunt Fury and/or to infiltrate other agencies. Someone needs to show up to tell Rhodes where to find Fury. Though to be fair, I am not sure if Don Cheadle will be appearing in any other episodes. It would be odd to have him plant that seed “hey Prez, Fury has gone

Ah, yes you are correct. Goonies has the moment where Sean Astin character personifies the pirate skeleton, but there is nothing outwardly supernatural going on. Same with National Treasure. I think you have it right, that Sabina was writing this more from personal knowledge and preferences rather than doing any

Ha! I actually had completely forgotten the Quartermain films until I saw your post. Good call though, clearly should have been included.

I thought of Romancing the Stone too, but think for this list, they wanted to include only films that include actual supernatural elements. I haven’t seen all the movies on this list, but those I have all include some sort of magic. Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle runs on “trapped in a video game” tropes, which is more

Would you say I have a plethora of piñatas?

Looks pretty cool! Makes sense to me to redesign the veritech fighters. In the original series, they were clearly modeled on the F14 Tomcat, which in 1982 was cutting edge real life tech. It also helped the Americanized version that came out in 1985 in that Top Gun came out just a year later and that film was a love

That is the part that I don’t understand. White suburban women strongly and consistently vote Republican. There appears to have been some hand-wringing after the fall of Roe and the rise in state-level anti-abortion legislation, but women who vote Republican have reported that they’ll continue to do so, even if they

I am compelled to post this gif.

From our friend Douglas Adams, “In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”

Hey now, the Zerg Guardian is a pretty bad ass unit that has excellent range and damage. Their only drawbacks are their cost and the time it takes to climb their tech tree.

I have a question though. A lot of DEI programs (at least in CA colleges where I work) are funded by federal grants or othet funding sources. Does this horror of a law also prevent using funds even if they are not using FL state money?
