well i dont have the money for an ST and im not going to gamble 14k on a car that likely has a faulty design in its transmissions.

that would involve admitting a problem and then pulling the trans on thousands of cars. they issued TSBs about it. Maybe if they spend less time worrying about gadgets for their sync thing and more time engineering ala Mazda they wouldnt be this spot.

found it...The PowerShift automatic is produced for Ford by GETRAG Americas, a joint venture between the GETRAG Group and GETRAG FORD Transmissions. The transmission is built at a new facility in Irapuato, Mexico.

from what ive read Ford is in somewhat of a freak out mode wondering what to do. It's a bummer cause the Fiesta seemed like a great car. I think its the new 'power shift' transmissions that are in both cars. I cant determine online where they are manufactured (id be curious to know).

I just looked into buying a Fiesta as my commuter car, i read that all of their transmissions are dying.

I guess he's not a 5 tool player.
