FaceTime may not be suitable for every desired use, but that is is no reason to not have it for when it is suitable.

@That70sDude: Yes, it makes perfect sense. 1280 x 720 is the resolution of the wide-screen 720p HDTV standard, which is far more widely supported than 1440 x 1080. 1440 x 1080 is less than the full 1920 x 1080 of the wide-screen 1080p standard; 1440 x 1080 is a 4:3 abomination.

@Jay_Simmons: That's funny, but the truth might be even worse if Netflix offers high-quality video at full-width resolutions for iPhone 4 and iPad.

@MyDarkPassenger: It's the same with AT&T's iPhone plans, AT&T's 3G service isn't always available here in Silicon Valley, and AT&T's 3G service feels slow even when it is available (compared to home or business Internet connections regardless of how it compares to other wireless services), so I end up using WiFi
