Mhm! I’m VERY tolerant of temp swings. I golfed in 100 degree weather wearing long sleeves (new tattoo) and can wear shorts in freezing temps. But to the same token, unless it’s absurdly warm, I regulate well enough to be really comfy in my down jacket. Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones?

Perhaps. But at the end of the day, it’s whatever helps them instill the belief that they’re ready to perform their best. Maybe those things don’t do anything physically (I never feel different after visiting a chiropractor), but my personal experience with compression gear on flights has helped immensely.

Hoo boy. You’re getting on all the United flights I’m not! There’s a reason my down jacket comes along.

Compression leggings or compression socks. I spend 8+ months a year with professional athletes and everyone, support staff included, wears them on long (and short) flights. They help the pros with recovery, and help regular dudes like me with circulation and a general feeling of a little more freshness when I hit the

Thanks for chiming in on an old thread! I think I’ll be fine as long as the bag fits horizontally.

I’ve got an Octavia this November. How’s the space? I’ll have two full size checked pieces of luggage, golf clubs, and two backpacks. We’ll also have our daughter’s car seat. I don’t mind stacking things, but was the boot space decent enough to fit this stuff? (Golf clubs go horizontally on top of the suitcases.

We’ll never know the intent, but that one does look like it got away from him. To my eye, that thing leaves his hand awfully early.

Just dried ours; couldn’t agree more. Matching paring knife and smaller santoku knife are also money. Best gift we’ve received to my memory.

(s)wooooooosh.

I follow golf very closely and do not know if this is actually a nickname for him. Or is this a weird auto-correct?

Is it weird that I want a game like this...but without killing people?

As quite a few others have pointed out, and I think you’ve started to see based on that, it’s less pro-scab/anti-union and more just a story about time and place. This guy had a hell of a decision to make, but the retaliation he received was way over the line.

And for a HUGE payday increase. Dude’s struggling to reach his goal and making next to nothing, and then the offer comes along. I partially understand the anti-Fields sentiment, if for the pro-union perspective...but he’s a human being, at the end of the day.

Yeah, this is where I am as well. Great piece.

You really should pull your head out of Donnie’s ass.

I took the plunge and built a desktop after swearing off Windows since Vista. I can honestly say I’ve never been happier. I miss a little of the integration, and some of the new muscle memory is still coming to me, but since all the tools I use for work tend to be cross-platform (Adobe, primarily) it’s not been much

Ah damn! You beat me to it.

Cool word.
