I can’t, for the life of me, wrap my head around the conservative fascination with guns. They’re supposed to be the moral beacons of a nation, yet the easiest way to appeal to a large chunk of them is through a FPS? Does. Not. Compute.

We (white folks) have also had almost every movie ever mode FOR us, BY us, and WITH us in them, with near exclusivity. And we have the nerve to get mad about ONE movie that doesn’t feature a single white person? I’m constantly amazed and ashamed.

I like the second part of this, but am not so sure I want to give people who want guns any militaristic training so they know how to use them better and more efficiently.
