Let’s just say that many years ago, I molded my screen name after Dolphin Boy.

Our dog immediately goes and picks up Piggy and/or (most often attempting to hold both) Owl Roker. Neither toy has stuffing in them any longer.

We’re doing Vietnam this October/November, followed by three days in Tokyo on the way home. It’s my first time leaving the US (Canada aside).

You can use this (good) advice. You can also not worry about comparing your experiences to anyone else’s. It’s not a contest about who can have the best vacation. Do the things you want and you’ll definitely have a good time.

We just picked up a Fuji X100S. As someone who’s owned DSLRs in the past, I love having a fixed lens and having to work to take the photo I want. Also, the images that come out of this thing are just plain phenomenal. It’s worth a look for travel, for sure.

Except when you’re descending Pike’s Peak (or other winding mountain passes) and your CVT would prefer you to mash the brakes, rather than use engine braking. Then they come in very handy.
