I don’t understand this philosophy that anything rare and old is valuable. Especially if that thing is rare because the rest of the originals are now in junk yards, rather than because it had a limited production run, or a price high enough that few people could afford it. CP.

I think it's more the clutch problem based on comments here. That's a issue that's waiting for the new owner. You know the second week someone has his the problems going to turn into catastrophic clutch failure.

I don’t know. I just voted CP because for $25k there’s a lot of options for damn decent car. I can’t think of anything about the Delorean design that makes it collectible other than being rare at this point.
