The problem is that even though Samsung funded the study, no Samsung tv's were used, in fact no LCD or Plasma tv's were used by any manufacturer, they used specialized equipment.

Also Samsung doesn't make great tv's. They make great panels, but when you factor all of the other components that it takes to make a tv, including power supplies and capacitors, they just make decent quality sets.

3D films have been around since the 50's, this isn't new technology, this is Hollywood looking for new revenue steams.

I'd think Hollywood would love this movie. It shows that a great story, acting, and directing are the most important thing. You don't always need huge budgets, explosions, etc.
