As a car owner and a dedicated cyclist, I do in fact carry insurance and pay taxes that build and maintain roads. In fact, most cyclist in the US are no different than me.

Except for the fact that it isn’t a supercar. It isn’t even a car. Good trick for a SUV though!

Driving barefoot or in socks wouldn’t be practical in Minnesota or Wisconsin 9 months out of the year. You'd also be risking a ticket in certain areas.
