"Spirited" in that section is 40-45 and slow enough to stop when one of the SEVEN driveways they passed has someone exiting. They're doing way, WAY more and bear responsibility for using a residential area as a track.

There's a huge difference between driving spirited and plain f***ing nuts on Latigo Canyon — go ahead and count the driveways they're passing at 60+ mph — Each one is where normal people come and go, some with less notice than this (idiot) BMW.
they did avoid it by crossing the double yellow... at then next blind turn... so, basically what the BMW did but instead of it being stopped picture it coming right at you in the turn.
feel free to go fast as fuck on this:, you can see around the corners
Irrespective of the car parked in the lane, the rider is routinely putting his head over the center line. That's living on borrowed time, because it shows he's willing to use up more than the available space. It will catch up with him eventually.
Public road hooning is all about managing risks. Especially on a motorcycle. I'm no saint when it comes to speed limits, especially on two wheels, but if there was an actual incident as a result of this, it would have been 99.9% the rider's fault.
Yeah. They got lucky so the only damage is to underwear.
What? This is normal for SoCal canyon carving on the smaller canyons.
Wow. Simply wow. I'm a biker for as long as I've driven cars, and that's a hell of a long time. So. If you can't assure clear sight distance, then Slow. The. Fuck. Down. Now.
Pardon me, but FUCK THAT in the nicest way I can say it, because: It could have been my kid or yours crossing that road.
The riders are the asshats. Sure, we can lay blame on the driver of the sedan, but it is a blind corner. If it turned out that there was, instead of the car, a large dog or a 3 year child wandering into the street, the riders would be 100% at fault if they hit the dog or child.
And, boys and girls, that's why you don't treat public roads like your own race track. You want to race, take it to a track.
Its funny how we are so quick to place blame. I mean, whatever happened to:
I'm inclined to say that the motorcyclist and Atom driver are far bigger morons for driving so quickly around blind turns than the BMW owner is for stopping their car in the middle of the road.
Seriously? As a German I'm not amused. I think you crossed a line there.
So let's see, a guy buys a BMW, non-running without doing a proper diagnosis or research into worst-case scenarios, attempts to build a race car on zero budget, and complains when his bad plan doesn't come to fruition? How is this the car's fault again?
Funny description aside, I actually did buy a 328, non-running…
And somehow, even less reliable!
And that is why you don't valet your car.
At the risk of summoning the Banhammer...
