The Speed6 body is so subtly different that it's extremely easy to confuse with the normal version. It really doesn't look "fast" at all.
No helmets, no real flag stations, people outside their cars hanging out, what could go wrong?! The club racing crowd here makes fun of our local track for having open passing lapping days without race licensing or tech inspection... the 'ring is a whole different level!
The Cobalt SS is a sleeper for sure, especially with the wing removed. The SRT-4, not so much, especially since they are/were a huge "tuner scene" car.
+1, great sleeper. Be careful, though, VVT issues lead to timing chain trouble and PCV pressure issues lead to turbo damage (since the oil can't drain). Literally every functional part is from an SLK32 AMG. Nothing Chrysler about the car. The only things that even have a Mopar parts sticker on them are the body panels, glass, and speaker adapter rings.
+1 for these not getting as much credit as they should - I have an N/A and it was much more respectable around a track than I expected it to be. And the SRT6 is absolutely the best $ per horsepower around if you don't want a crap-box car to go with it (looking at you, DSM).
