The first R8 was great. It was a GT that fringed on supercar and started at $100k when F430's were double that and 612's were both almost triple the price and slower. It was like the i8 where its styling with the sideblades looked like it traveled back in time. And in the bang-for-the-buck category there was nothing

I kinda dig the Venza as a design, and wonder what it’d be like on 17s or 18s with some sidewall

Believe it or not, I’ve purchased a house without a garage.

My daily driver, on a 2500 mile road trip after putting the engine back together less than two weeks before. Highly recommended!

Monteros are effing brilliant, I got mine at 218k miles and it sits at 305k and runs like a champ albeit puffing ghosts at stop signs...

I’d say do it if you can swing it! I’ve seen Monteros do some wild stuff off-road and I just watch in awe. Like, I’ve watched one pull a school bus out of a mud pit.

Picking up another project tomorrow. Can’t wait.

Hopefully those aren’t all the same vehicle.

This week has been a whirlwind for me! Closed on a house, bought a project car, bought a motorcycle.

Me. The answer is “me”.

Project G.U.M.P. proceeds apace.

They want what would be local tax money to be spent elsewhere in the state - most likely among those who voted for the comptroller.

What’s that supposed to mean?

That thumb of a comptroller actually started the process of forcibly taking control the next day.

I know it’s Tenessee but damn that’s on the nose. (“These black folk don’t know how money works, unlike those white folk who were efficient in their fraud!”)

These kinds of abuses are much more insidious.

The only 4 cylinder I’ve heard in person that sounded good was a Fiat 500 Abarth. I get why people rave about the exhaust note on those cars.

I’d like to second the proposal that the car not sound like it has a shitty tune. I don’t need pops and crackles by way of dumping fuel. A good, steady engine note at a reasonable volume would be great.
