There are lots of nice drives in the area. Take out your map and drive around one of the Finger Lakes or drive up highway 14 to Sodus Point on Lake Ontario, crossing over the Erie Canal. If you are lucky, you might get to see a boat go through the locks.
Theres also a few wineries in the area that make really good wine.
