True. I'm not saying I WANT to be taxed on displacement, but to me it is the lesser of two evils. At least when being taxed on displacement or whatever other metric you choose, it is ultimately up to the consumer to buy the vehicle and pay the taxes on it. However, with the current US solution you're putting the

Couldn't have said it better myself.

President Obama is expected to announce today that his team will begin working on new, tighter, fuel regulations for medium and heavy duty vehicles. This is a promise from the state of the union address, where he said that he wanted to reduce our dependence on oils and what we pay at the pump.

Well, these are truck drivers from Texas. Week-old dirty jeans may be an improvement.

Well, that's one way to get the hell out of Toronto....

Absolutely. The jump from the Gen III to the Gen IVs in 2005 was a horrible step backwards in appearance. I loved the Gen III, which is why I own 2 of them, but the Gen IV was just the horrible 'me-too' big truck styling exercise which was made even worse by the Gen V in 2008. What a joke. It's too bad to, because the

It wasn't until a couple years after Pontiac was killed off that I knew this or the G5 existed. GM was shoving rebadged cars down Pontiac's throat while simultaneously slowly strangling it. So sad.

To each his own, then. I'm clearly biased because I own two Dakotas...both '98 extended cab 2wds with the 318 V8. Both have been trouble-free for me except for the stuff I keep messing with. If it was a V6, then yeah, those were pretty low on power. The V8 makes it a blast to drive but also sucks down gas like a

I wouldn't call them a 'hunk of shit'.

Acura ZDX

Cadillac Catera.

I was thinking exact same thing.

That seems to be the common tactic. Dealers will purposely order cars with certain packages and options. That way if someone really wants a given option, they automatically get shoved into a much more expensive car to get it. If they aren't willing to pay the premium for it, they just get shoved into the closest thing

We ended up with a really good experience with the dealer and salesman we bought the car form. It ended up being similar to yours, but it took about 10 dealerships and multiple salesmen to get to that point.

Ugh. After recently going through the new car buying process, searching countless dealerships for a car we wanted, being blatantly lied to by salesmen, and being put in the high pressure sales situations, then be harassed by phone/text/e-mail for weeks afterwards after buying a car, I'd gladly welcome direct to

Looks a few other people already explained what it is. So, here's a few pics that I took when I was there back in 2010 (sorry for poor quality).

Now playing

So, just like everything in life, it can be summed up by a Simpsons clip.

Went there...was amazed.

You're right. Looks like I mistook this new 650S for the P15 sketches floating around, or possibly the P13, which look very similar to the MP4-12C and P1. I don't know. This is not the first time I've made of mess of my P(s). My bad.

Wow, and I thought Audi was notorious for just putting their new car designs into a copy machine set at 80% scale...
