I know it's a long shot, but I can still dream.

Actually, I think it's the other way around. Having the super cheap base models hurts the high end models in my eyes, and the SS doesn't have to worry about that. It gets to be the halo model of the Chevy sedan line-up and doesn't have to worry about fleet sales, rentals, or riced out based models soiling it's image

Will do. :)

A fiery red-head, of course.

But the Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger lack two big items that the SS has....rear doors. I know they can be had cheaper with the V8 compared to the SS. I wasn't trying to say they're competing; I was pointing out that the SS is priced on par with most of the other American muscle cars.

Most people probably won't be cross shopping the $43k SS with $43k Caddys.

Kinja'd!

True, but considering it is pretty easy to get the Camaro, Challenger, Charger, 300, and even Mustang well north of $43k, it doesn't seem that overpriced to me. The difference between those cars and the SS is that they have decontented base models with V6s. The SS has that too; it's called the Impala (yes I realize

Neutral:

Damn. Beat me to it.

Came here to post the Volvette. Well done.

The Edge also has the kind of crash avoidance system that's increasingly common on newer, high-end cars. It will issue warnings if it detects slow-moving or stationary obstacles in the same lane ahead. If the driver doesn't act following the warnings, the system will automatically steer and brake the vehicle to avoid

It's in season 7. It's the episode wear Marge buys a Chanel dress at the outlet mall and tries to join with the Springfield elite.

It was a valiant effort. :)

First off, how old is this guy? Sure, I suppose any Horseless Carriage was a real petticoat-dropper when you'd stop to fill up with Hayless Feed at the Combustibile Spirits Station back in aught-four, but now?

Absolutely. The only exception to this could be a nice set of wheels...not eBay specials...but a really nice set of wheels. Even then, I would want the stock wheels included.

Here's a few more:

Any customized car...especially really tacky ones. People have the tendency to assume the money they dump in the car should be what they get out. Not always the case.

If you look at about the 12 second mark, the guardrail has the distinct appearance that this is not the first time it has been hit.

I know the Challenger is crazy heavy and will not handle as well as some of it's cross-town rivals' performance editions, but it is still the muscle car I'd buy. I mean just look at it! Gorgeous.
