Yes, but that is my point. You could get a base Volvo 240/740 for thousands under the Germans. They didn't compete with the base BMW/Merc/Audi, but nor were they supposed to. Once you loaded up a Volvo it was very comparable to its German competition.

There is for now. I believe it, too, will be replaced with 4 cylinders turbo in the next year or two but still be called a T5.

Celebratory dance for first #1 AOTD!

We get the smaller T5 5-cylinder engine in the base S60/V60 with 250 hp. No diesel options.

Neutral:

CP.

Another great scene. For a movie about nothing, I love it.

If I may enter a second submission...I'd say the opening seen of Dazed and Confused with "Sweet Emotions" playing and the GTO Judge rounding the parking lot. Instant jealously for being born in the 80s...

Now playing

Easy...The Blues Brothers in their shit-box Dodge. This famous quote started one of the best car chases of all time.

NP.

It's a donk.

My first submission was taken, so for #2....wall of subs.

Any wheel from Asanti.

Ditto.

3,200 miles in six days? He must be trailering it. :)

True, but only with base engines on base models. You cannot get that fantastic new turbo four in the Forester in 3-pedal form...only CVT form. You also cannot get the Outback with the 3.6 with a manual, and the 2.5 in that car makes it a pig.

That's the new Volvo V40. It's more of hatch than wagon, but close enough. Right now, it's forbidden on US soil, but hopefully that changes soon.

That's what actually sold us on the car.

I know what you mean.
