The sequels desperately needed a single voice to ensure all three films supported an overall story. Playing hot potato between creative teams with wildly different visions of the series was a terrible idea.

Sorry to gravedig - this link came up on FB - but the original Pathfinder, a 1987 Norwegian film based on Sami legend, is absolutely great. If you liked the remake, you'll almost certainly love the original.

Dillon Frances definitely had the best set. Steve Akoi was very underwhelming.

I looked up Trolls just for fun and for some reason didn’t realize it’s $20 to just rent the movie. Which is 4x the normal amount for a rental and will probably be $20 when you can own the movie digitally.

Yeah, I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw a 3D movie on the big screen. Not because I choose not to (I definitely DO want to) but the theatres just aren’t showing them here any more :-(

Seriously, how great is Emissary? It hits every beat you need to hit in a pilot and the use of baseball to teach linear time to non-linear creatures is just brilliant. It brings a smile to my face every time I watch it.
