Timeless beauty, pin-up material, powerful enough to scare you yet soft enough so you want to keep going for rides, and, for the sugar on top, she's got a real nice blower.
So you're saying you want to date a German girl with a stick?
3 ton floor jack, creeper, and 2 jack stands for $100. Pretty good deal (and what I got for Chanukkah!)
Lancia Delta S4? I know they "redid" the Stratos (read; threw a stratos body on an F430 chassis), but a really really hot hatch like the S4 would be sweet. Or at least remake the S4's tamer older brother, the Integrale.
Mid 90's Jeeps. The 4.0 will run pretty much forever, and good times can be had by all in one of these. Load up a cooler in the back, some friends in the middle, go tear up some dirt roads, do some mudding, and then drive home.
Pontiac G8 GXP. Only 1800+ were made, and of those, probably only 800+ were manuals. Pretty low production numbers for an LS3 powered, 415 hp 4 door sedan, that at it's time (read; before the new CTS-V came out), it was touted as the best handling American sedan to be made, and was a direct, low budget competitor to…
While I'd have to argue for my truck (1974 Chevy C10), it's admittedly not the prettiest thing.
The problem is less with the event as a whole, and more with the venue. The monster truck rallies I've been to have all been in stadiums (such as the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis). That way, if a truck loses control, people are elevated out of the way. So feel free to go to a monster truck rally, but I would never…
Any new "supercar"
Freiburger and Finnegan are already an amazing combo on Roadkill. And while that might segway nicely into Top Gear, I'd rather just see Roadkill become a TV series. It's much more gearhead and hands on and hot rod oriented than TG.
Straight pipes (no cats, no mufflers, no nothing) in general are not a good idea. Aside from making the car sound like garbage (especially compared to a nice muffler/resonator set up), you get annoying drone inside the cabin. PLUS, you'll likely lose performance, especially on an engine not tuned to run with no back…
While we can all hope, I dont know how much this will help. When people get a text while driving, they want to respond right away. Hell, when anyone gets a text anywhere, they want to respond right away. It's the addiction to attention and the need for companionship that makes people text while drive. They can't stand…
Bummer for Burleson, especially because he was coming off a not bad game. Hopefully he'll only be out maybe 6-8 weeks.
I don't know if it technically answers the question, but Dazed and Confused one of the best non-car, car movies out there. The whole film is filled with old American muscle. Whats not to love?
2nd Gear: Why is 50 MPG in the city even noteworthy today? After having to drive my grandma's 2002 first gen Prius for the summer (80 mile commute/day, saved me $100/week over my truck, and the car was given to me so I spent no money on it), I got about 44 on the freeway and over 50 in the city. And this was in a 12…
Any slow-mo drag racing video is pretty awesome. Like these:
Like many have said, I'd recommend taking the 1 after San Luis Obispo. Living in SLO for the past three years though have given me some wisdom about eating, driving, and picture taking I shall impart on you now.
Good to know! Glad they're doing well enough to afford it.
I figured as such. They restarted a couple years back after being out of business for awhile. I believe Iron Man 2 was the first movie they played, and I was there opening weekend. Fun drive in.
