Yea they used motorcycle tires...it all boils down to the slip angle which relates to the grip that the tires produced but its definitely a unique idea. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much research into the proper camber angles so the ideas still pretty untested and new

Poor execution of a actually good idea though. Cal Poly's Formula Hyrbid team built their previous years car based on a cambered set up. With the right amount of fine tuning and light-weightness, you can get similar grip levels with a camber car set up with a less advanced suspension.

Hooray for the shout out to SLO...I go to cal poly so this amused me

This would've been an appropriate time to ask her if she smoked...

On the BMW X5M: "This car would be less annoying to eco-mentalists if its engine ran on sliced dolphin."

The picture of Amber Heard aint too bad either

Most likely been said, but seeing as im too lazy to scroll down ill repeat it but Toyota Supra. Especially the twin turbo version.

They didn't even throw any bananas or anything...

Plus if you have a diesel truck it will only take you about 3 seconds to fill it up thanks to the high flow nozzles!

They'd rather be Cummins then 'Strokin...

BMW 3 or 1 series. Let me tell you a story about my next door neighbor. He's a good kid, gets good grades, nice enough, but he's also an only child. His dad had an Acura NSX and now owns a BMW M3 with a horsepower freak turbo kit.

I'm just waiting for one of these to go for under the 30k mark. Maybe another year or two and they'll be there

Probably been said but Jason Statham and his Audi S8 with the w12 in it in the Transporter movies. Especially when he utilizes the cars two-wheel drive ability seen here

I wish I had a picture but some guy in my neighborhood just built a huge concrete house with an equally large garage. I've seen the inside and his garage has two levels with a lift to lift and place the cars on the second level. Holds something like 12 cars

It was weight to power...So you want a low number. I agree the wording is confusing as hell though but he says 7.24 pounds per horsepower

2 grand is kindaaa cheap. Plus you get fun in the sun!

Geo Metro. Cheap. 40+ mpg. Sure they're probably death traps, but if you have no money, a good way to go.

Calm down buddy you're raining on everybody's parades here. The G8 makes sense because Pontiac is dead and its not like people outside of the automotive enthusiast world realize this car was ever made. Yes the GXP is rarer, but the base G8 and the G8 GT are equally forgotten

I see where you're coming from and I agree, my original point though was that I dont have enough faith in my fellow drivers to not be distracted by their cell phones, etc despite the fact that they have to shift gears. In a perfect world, yes, everybody would just drive a manual and pay attention but I'm saying I cant

Look all im saying is that, despite all the reasons that you and I and I think most of the people on this site think manual transmissions are better, because automatic transmissions take one distraction away from American drivers who are already way to distracted when they drive, they are a automotive innovation I
