I met Claire Danes once and had a nice if brief talk. Then again, we were at a Ben Lee concert, and she was dating Ben Lee, so it's not like there was any possibility of anything to be nervous about. B^)

Man, am I losing patience with this show.

Wow, this mini-thread REALLY had me cracking up! Thanks guys.

Hey, if we're going to start examining the reality of their office space being shut down for two months, we're going to have to start asking how in the world there isn't ANY temporary office space available in the city of Chicago? They could go to Regus and get something set up quickly, for example. Heck, they could

OMG…not only did I need more Sarah Ramos in my life (and had no idea how much), but I totally needed MasterChef Junior recaps in my life because it's like the only show that I watch that AV Club doesn't do and Luca (this summer's winner) is pretty lame at it. I was having a rough night, and this totally brightened me

Totally agree with Merve. This episode was flat-out bad. Glad some connection to Brandt's character on Breaking Bad gave the reviewer something to like about it, but I never watched that show.

Yes. And it's a tribute to the show that they were able to communicate that so quickly. These are two non-central characters, but they're both so well-developed that the meeting had a lot of depth to it.

"There are shows that, having dropped a 10-year-old orphaned girl on the
deck, would feel duty-bound to have her revealed as the villain of the
episode, just to blow everyone’s mind."

Back To The Egg really is more Paul's "new wave" album than McCartney II. And it's a great album.

Yeah…I think they really are trying to tell us that he was her pastor, but if he was there's NO WAY he'd be such an idiot as to fail to explain himself to Grace's mother. (And, yes, it's true as others are saying that it's possible he really is a pastor AND he's looking to get into Grace's pants—check out Dan Savage's

No one mentioned Lily's "my friend Keisha says…" lines, which for me were the highlight of the episode. I hope Keisha will be this generation's Jenny Piccolo or Tino or Bob Sacamano. B^)

The most entertaining part of the show for me is that they named one of the characters "Henry Cho", which is also the name of one of the funniest stand-up comics out there. So I kept making jokes in my head about that.
"Henry Cho's identity is a secret!" "Well, it's not a SECRET secret!"
(When they started shooting at

Not in another state, he can't. Malik Yoba's character was getting executed in Indiana.

All the jokes in the thread about the MasterChef season finale about how they made a big deal of the chintzy trophy hit home harder now that this show ONLY has the trophy as a prize, at least as far as I can tell. Here's hoping that the winner will get something of actual value, too! Still, not a bad hour, and

ROFL at that, Wad!!! Watch out if Mac attends anything that is biker-themed.

The executive producer of The Rachel Maddow Show has a Wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi… Seems reasonably comparable (although the EP of All In, for example, does not. If it weren't so late I'd look for more examples!)

Hell yeah. It's time for the USA Network to get LITT UP!!!!

Um…first off, they couldn't reveal them, since they had already established that they wouldn't be ready until after the wedding.

This Is Not…: There's an official Fringe press kit that offers a newspaper from the Alt-universe about a Beatles reunion, suggestion Lennon is alive (and Harrison, as well). Of course, press kits aren't canon, and anyway this was before the reboot, so who knows whether it still applies…
