Stock Harley’s aren’t really loud at all with the basic OE exhaust. Gas Mileage on the breakout is at 38 MPH. Not terrible.

Man I have always loved the Harley idle with baffled, not straight, pipe exhaust. Waste spark mixed with equal length staggered exhaust always sounded great. A visceral sound.

I tried to read the user manuals for my 2008 Cadillac STS. You have the user manual, nav manual, warranty manual etc. you get so much information and a ton is just legal nonsense.

Seriously this isn’t just a generation gap thing. My girlfriends mother had no clue her SRX had a remote start for two years of owning it...or fog lights.

I was thinking about that as well. New cars now last double the time really they don’t rot out after two-three rust belt winters. Crazy we are still in a real savings drought for millennials as well.
