I have long wondered why automakers haven’t effectively tapped into the narcissism of the millennial generation. Look at spending habits in restaurants and bars now, its higher than ever. For a generation that has been seeking “Experiences over things” a vehicle fits perfectly into that mold. It’s a thing that can

My 05 Harley got progressively worse gas mileage, due to a dirty as heck air filter. Usually got 150 miles a tank but the last trip before I changed the filter apparently 130 was the cut off. High speed lane doing 80 and all of a sudden bucking and running out of fuel. Luckily I was able to switch the tank to reserve

Man i hate the explorers. Rev hang and body roll. I would be nervous to push it around a corner.

Looking at 2016 sales numbers the Mustang was #51 at around 100k units. The Subaru WRX/STi was 33K units. I am digging further to see age demographics on who is buying the cars but that’s taking a bit more time.

Just look at the current sales figures as well as production numbers of 2Dr “Sporty” cars. I’m not talking about just actually fast cars with a ton of HP. Sporty cars like the 86, Miata. Heck even Accord axed the coupe. The cars aren’t being produced because they aren’t selling well, because people don’t want to buy

Even CUV prices aren’t that low. I don’t see it being a purchase price issue. An entry level Camaro/Mustang/Challenger V6/turbo, BRZ/86, Miata is very similar in price to a CUV/SUV.

Not talking about speed here just sporty cars in general. IE V6 Mustang/Camaro. Toyota 86/BRZ type cars aren’t fast but they are sporty. The entire segment is down. The SUV/CUV/Pickup market is booming. While personal luxury is way down.

Why don’t Millennials, as a whole, want to buy sporty cars? My dad tells me stories about the 60's/early 70's where all the boomer kids wanted the latest sporty car. No one wanted grandma’s hand-me down wagon or 4door car.

Didn’t read anything. I saw the Jackson covered bridge an immediately went to the comments. My favorite covered bridge and I love Jackson and the falls specifically.

Kevin Jewer’s RWD Talon got all sorts of squirrelly at the DSM Shootout this year. Had to change more than just his engine diaper..

And the media/politicians try to down play “property crime”. This of course is more than a standard property crime but the woman was not really assaulted. I bet they will get off easy. Unfortunately for those of us who have been the victim of property crime it often feels like we did something wrong, its not a big

Basic human income. No one works just let the machines do everything.

I love my 1972 Chevelle which is a super american muscle car....built in Oshawa Ontario Canada.

Sells parts and services. Same reason why shops have always built shop cars.

Saw this car in person at the Shootout the past couple years along with Gidi’s AMS monster the past couple years have been crazy. No Gidi this year tho. Hopefully the Buschur Shootout next year will have multiple 200MPH and 6second cars.

I can’t wait for a future with no internal combustion engines. I will feel like mad max driving around in my Chevelle.

Oh boy New England Dragway! love that place. Also a great place to watch 4G63 powered vehicles run. Swaps of all kinds. That car I do not believe had a 4G swap but a 2.2 or 2.5 turbo.

The spyder is my favorite boxster but I doubt they will be investment cars like a 911 would be or GT4.

Man I hate car dealers. Honestly the entire process is set up to screw the customer. I never have good experiences. Can’t wait until manufactures start pushing the Tesla model. It will happen .The unions and dealer friendly laws will change one way or another.

Just follow the trail of dying wildlife.
