I believe most of the newest EVs get to 80% on a 15 min charge. That will get you those numbers already. A 300 mile range plus a 15min charge to 80% gets you 540 miles. At 80mph, a 15 min break over 6.75 hours of driving if nothing and should satisfy most peoples needs.
