Manufacturing cannot continue in the US under that scenario since the input prices + labor costs will negate the ability to make profit.

I will bring automobile manufacturing back to the highest level in the history of our country...it’ll be like it was 50 years ago.

I have a question that might be as dumb as the speaker of this story.

I have a deal with my mother. The day Trump goes to prison or dies, whichever comes first, I am taking her out for a very expensive steak dinner. Because it will be a day worth celebrating. Death might be worth TWO steak dinners.

He’s one stupid mother fucker.

The oval office desk drawer with the knob for car insurance prices is right under the drawer with the knob for gas prices. It would be easy to lower prices, but Biden just keeps cranking those knobs up. Sad!

They probably think he will do it the same way voters believe whoever is president has direct control on how the economy is doing.

I’m sure he has concepts of plans for that too.

Some would say thats still too much Florida.

I used to think cruises were horrible but I went on my first one, I liked it mainly because I needed to turn off my phone for a few days and relax.

Busy zip-tying flags to their Ram 2500s. Also, they don’t do so much reading, so you’re gonna need to have Joe Rogan tell them about it if you want their opinion.

To get an Ohio used car dealer license, you need to have a $25,000 surety bond. Even though the dealer closed, I don’t think the bond would be revoked/given back to the dealer since there was pending litigation. Earleta Homes could have their lawyers claw back the $3k from the bond money (since that’s what it’s for).

People, when the engineers tell you, “This thing will not work, and I’m not getting in it,” listen to them.

They just don’t have the infrastructure to do it at these ancient post offices.”

This is exactly what first should be electrified: any vehicle that runs the same limited route, day after day, and returns home to recharge each night. Every mail truck, school bus, city bus should be an EV ASAP.

I can’t wait for my mailperson to get hers, it was 108 degrees this week!

So DeJoy got something right with these new trucks; doesn’t erase his fuckery prior to the last election. He’s gotta go.

They’re totally goofy...but also totally lovable. How can you not like that adorableness?

For something as essential and utilitarian as a postal truck, it’s nice that appearance was the least important factor and they went all in on function. Hopefully, the reliability is just as good as the form factor.

They’re goofy looking, but honestly pretty endearing, and being purpose-built whilst also increasing safety and comfort is a huge win.
