I really need to stop reading r/LPT, as all the good ones end up here anyways haha

Okay. I've thought it before, but now I know. You're my long lost twin.

It was actually the test driver for the car, and he's the one that forced them to put electronic aids (traction control) onto it because it scared him so much. If you look at the first post about Walker dying, the link to that comment was in the comments.

I'm really curious, what actually happens when you download it?

Canadian here. Snow tires are necessary if you don't want to get fired from your job, or fail at school. You can't get around without them here haha

He's like a cartoon character, its hilarious and terrifying at the same time!

Editorial cartoon this morning was him. "I may have driven drunk.. But I was severely impaired at the time"

Ohhh, okay. Good to know.

Hopefully they dropped the batteries for a V8.

I'm actually really interested to see what they come up with, because knowing Nissan, they won't be doing it unless it improves upon it in some way. So whether they do the KERS like system, or just have a motor (or two) powering the front wheels (I seriously doubt that one though, where could they go?) It's gonna kick

Cylinder deactivation while idling would actually make a huge difference. They literally spend 95 % of the time idling. The new Taurus interceptors have an engine timer, the first one my dad's department got had been running for 50-60 hours, had only gone something like 1000km.

Average range for 12 hour shift (from my experience) about 40-50km. This is depending on what their job is of course, but the main gas use is being parked while idling. Tesla is perfect for this.

Nova Scotia is only Canada's Florida in that its popular for retirement, we don't have too much in the way of crazy antics going on.

And apparently IIRC, he still has public opinion in Toronto on his side, they love him!

Matlab was free for me as a student actually.

A little more bloody though?

I think in three years when I can finally afford that 235i I've been dreaming about I might decide to use them too.. Just to stand out.

Except for Jalops. But those are all e30 M3s anyways!

So if we switched every car in America to electric right now, the power grid wouldn't be able to handle it. Yet companies want to use a more inefficient process, creating hydrogen, and truck it all over the country, using more energy, rather than just charge cars directly from the grid? That makes absolutely no sense
