My BMW’s coolant shows green, but is the real deal blue stuff.

The reason is UV dye that I keep in the system to check for leaks.  Do a once-a-month sweep with a blacklight makes it super easy to see if any plastic is starting to weep.

I check it first, but yeah if it’s not the right coolant or if it looks murky/old I change it. Whenever I buy a BMW and see green coolant (or even worse, ORANGE coolant), I immediately flush the system and put in the proper blue stuff.
