I have a similar model to this one. Yes it is actually using wifi. You connect your phone to the network this device broadcasts. I presume it is a faster connection than Bluetooth, but I'm not really sure why the use it.

I have this car, and having removed the cluster to fix the display screen, it is very easy. Like 10 minutes to pull it out.

Out of curiosity, what app was that? I have a wifi OBD II adapter, but I am underwhelmed with good apps for it.

I know I prefer the 4 spoke in E39s over the M wheels that are 3 spoke. I also don’t like really thick wheels.

I think I read once that when designing the E60, their goals for chassis rigidity was to match the E39.

I get your point if they were slapping Firestones on there or something, but what if people want a more streetable tire? I can think of times I don’t want to be driving track tires everywhere. Yes you are giving up some performance, but performance isn’t worth anything if you can’t use it.

According to Tirerack, the only tires you can get for a Z07 are Pilot SS, Pilot Sportcup 2, and Conti ExtremeContact DW, all of which I consider very good tires....

I find it amazing the BMW is still doing the same trick to hid OBDII data as my E39.

I always feel a little uncomfortable watching Apple events. It's like each presenter glances at a list of positive adjectives they have to hurry up and jam into their presentation on the fly.
