True, I have been to Brandon many times before (it's a bit farther than "right next to it." It's right about 30-40 minutes away, given the traffic), and the mall there is really popular, yet Tampa is rediculously huge. I guess they chose Brandon over Tampa since the New Tampa Best Buy has a smaller parking lot. You

Why Gainsville, Florida? I understand that there is a major University there but if you look at a population map, you can see that Tampa is just a *wee* bit bigger.

God, don't even get me started on the manuscript collections that were digitized by the Spanish government. Every time I want to read anything, BAM, f&$king watermark all over the image. It actually blocks some of the script, which mind you, is already rediculously hard to read at times.

This answer is relevant to almost every argument I hear about "kids these days." I have read material that ranges from two months to 2 thousand years old, and the argument I always hear is 'kids these days are not nearly as tough/intelligent/hardworking as the kids growing up in my day.' I always love to see comments

OBAMA lured him in to the walkway with anti-American socialist propaganda.

It could always be worse! I don't know how they are going to air the shows but at least you won't have to scour every Wal mart, Kmart, Target, and Blockbuster to find an overpriced VHS copy of your favorite anime. Compared to the present, American anime fans were basically given the shaft in the 1980's and 90's.

Don't even get me started on that show. I used to love that show but then it began to get really stagnant for me. "Sir, enemy ship incoming!" "Don't worry dude, we'll just ram another battlestar into it."

I was so surprised to see those when I went to the Louvre last year. Being the incessant video game collector that I am, does anyone here know how I could get a hand of one of those? The whole concept is really cool and I would just love to have an awesome, yet slightly useless piece of hardware like that.

Very insightful, Thanks for the contribution! It is a shame that taking 'collateral' is so common in modern economics due to our over-reliance on credit—virtual or otherwise—, and the varying risks that coincide with virtual transactions. Then again, we don't live in a utopia, so security measures must be made.(Little

This person is clearly preparing for battle with those nasty Norman invaders.

This looks awesome, but I prefer the massive box of Gundam action figures I bought when I was in 6th grade. At least you could pretend to have a mech fight without putting your property at risk with those.

I think a day will come when smartphone addiction will become the new alcohol addiction. There will be meetings inside the local church or YMCA where people will gather in a circle and introduce themselves with "Hi, my name is ____, and I haven't looked up in 3 years."

I guess I speak more from experience in this case. I used to live up north and libraries (especially libraries in busier states) were busier and better kept(The south appears to hate public libraries and the public education for some reason.lol). Here in FL, there is barely any funding that goes towards libraries and

Which is more accurate than not, oddly enough. Wonder Woman is closely associated with Athena. The Greeks and Romans actually viewed Athena in an androgynous light than a feminine one.

That's understandable; Wonder Woman's powers have fluctuated since the golden age of comics. I see it like this:

If libraries in Korea are anything like libraries in the United States (I am a history student living in Florida if you question my reasoning), I bet the librarians in Korea would be thrilled that the library is actually going to be occupied by more than a dozen people.

It's a shame "Troy" with Brad Pitt didn't include the fight scene with the Amazonian women. Even though many of them are killed in the major battles of the classical epics, they are usually the last ones to die (and die by the hand of a character who's survival is integral to the plot, like in the Aeneid and the

It's a shame that you're not a fan of Wonder Woman. The classical mythology that her character is based on is phenomenal(The Amazonian woman in the Aeneid is insanely powerful, and consumed with a divine rage that frightens nearly all of Aeneas' men, along with the Amazonian fighter that was so strong the only person

What's even worse is when a television show prides itself in its historical accuracy and it ends up to be little more than a collection of urban myths and Hollywood flair. I'm looking at you, "Sam Adams" and "Suleiman." Okay, that last one is from Turkey, but you know what I mean.

Something this awesome could have only come from a classical myth. If you get really deep into classical mythology, you tend to see that a lot of problems could have been avoided if a)you stop interrupting gods when they are dipping your children in water or fire, and b) you killed more babies.
