Even The Rock is super happy for Brendan!

It’s my contention that Brendan Fraser should get a 6-minute standing ovation essentially any time he enters a room, but maybe that’s just me.

There is a historical precedent for this. In High School did you never study the tale of the great warrior Leroy Jenkins?

The final battle was kind of stupid. Crabfeeder’s whole strategy this entire time was to keep his men hidden in the caves so a dragon or other armies can’t get to him and so what does he do when lonely ole Daemon is just out there by himself? Sends most of his army out of the caves and into the open. I also know that

The dragons aren’t real!  Thanks for ruining the magic

And squeals like the Chamberlain from Dark Crystal for some reason.

The acting is, indeed, good, and the setting and characters are strong. I think the big strength of this show and GOT (at its height anyway) is that their stories are structured in such a way that characters are often facing genuinely difficult choices with big consequences. It makes the plot fun to guess at but

the king seems content in his marriage (to, I will stress once again, an underage girl)

There are some who call him that.

SNL couldn’t do petty if it smacked them in the face with Lorne’s blank prescription pad.

Stay tuned for “Standing Ovation Slideshow”! Coming soon from the Kinja AV Club!

You had it white the first time.

It’s Beorn. Who was basically the beta test for Tom.

By the pic, he appears to be angling for the spot vacated by Ezra Miller.

It's Tom Bombadil and I'll fight whoever says otherwise

Isn’t just about everyone “much better than Adam Carolla,” though?

He also was the original Death in Family Guy, and much better than Adam Carolla

Dirty Work is underappreciated imho.

I just re-watched Superman>Justice League>JLU and agree, it never gets old. Since Batman The Animated Series, the shows have always featured a spot on voice cast. The only one that never clicked for me was George Newbern’s Superman - he was always far too stiff compared to Tim Daly’s more human take.

Mask of the Phantasm, Sub-Zero, and Return of the Joker are all considered part of the DCAU continuity (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman, Batman Beyond, Static, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited).
